BAJAJ ALLIANZ GENERAL INSURANCE REVISES THEIR HEALTH POLICY

As stated earlier in my earlier post there are changes happening in the health insurance sector…. Keeping in tune with the same Bajaj Allianz has revised their Health insurance plan known as Health Guard.

Kya Naya Hai you may ask ????

Major details given below are of the Gold Plan.

  1. Sum insured Options upto Rs. 50,00,000 Lakhs.
  2. Two Plans Silver & Gold Zone wise premiums A zone & B zone. Mumbai falls in A Zone.
  3. Silver Plan with sum insured below Rs. 150000  & Rs.200000 with sub limits,restrictions refer policy document.
  4. Gold Plan with Sum Insured from Rs.300000 to Rs. 50,00,000 Sum Insured
  5.  Sum insured Reinstatement Benefit for the same Illness. One of exclusive type in health insurance.(payable once for cancer* & kidney failure*) for details refer policy document.
  6. Pre Existing Diseases waiting period Reduced to 36 months instead of 48 months earlier
  7. Cataract Cover increase to up to Rs.100,000 or 20% of sum insured in gold plan.
  8. No static list of day care procedure again an advantage staying in tune with times , as now a days due to advanced medical treatment the stay in the hospitals have shortened hence day care treatment.
  9. Organ donor expenses up to sum insured
  10. Convalescence benefit, if an insured is hospitalized for more than ten  days at a stretch then Rs.5000 for sum insured Rs. 500000 & Rs 7500 for sum insured Rs.750000 or more.
  11. Daily cash benefit for accompanying child amount of Rs.500 if the child is less than 12 years of age.
  12. Bariatric Surgery Cover 10 % of the sum insured max Rs. 500000 under gold plan.
  13. Family Discount of 15 % if more than 3 persons in gold plan and 10% if two persons. Family discount available only in individual plan.
  14. Long term discount of 4% for two year policy & 8% discount on 3 year policy.
  15. No co-pay under gold plan.
  16. Road Ambulance Charges up to Rs. 20000 in Gold Plan
  17. Maternity Cover & New Born Baby expenses also covered refer the policy document as different amounts under different plans.
